In mid 2006, it was decided to divide the activities of R.Maes - Algemene bouwondernemingen NV, into different legal entities.

The production of architectonic concrete was brought under a new company, Arbeco NV, created by notarial deed on 5 December 2007.

Furthermore, on Thursday, 18 June, Willy Naessens Industriebouw NV acquired 50% of the capital.

Arbeco NV is a production unit for high-quality architectonic concrete elements for construction.
The use of this improved material in all possible shapes and colours, can be found in various applications such as:

• Façade coping in single and insulated double-wall elements, combinable with a bearing function where required;
• Balcony and terrace plates,
• Ornamental frames and cornices,
• Porch and decorative elements,
• etc. ...

also available in different surface textures such as smooth, washed, acidified or polished finish and/or covered with terra cotta or natural stone materials – in short, all but inexhaustible architectural applications and designs.

Its products are appreciated far beyond national boundaries (Benelux and France).
