In mid 2006, it was decided to divide the activities of the public limited company R. Maes - Algemene bouwondernemingen NV into different legal entities.

By notarial deed of 18 December 2006, this company was therefore divided by partial demerger into different entities, and brought under three autonomous companies.

The actual building activities will no longer be carried out under R.Maes NV in future (cf NV Algemene Bouw Maes, NV Afinco and NV Messiaen).

The statutory name of the company was therefore also changed to R.Maes NV.

R.Maes NV wishes to project a distinct profile as a property manager and developer in the future.
